A group composed of more than forty talented Franciscans from the Junior and Senior levels joined in the yearly Taguig City’s Indakan sa Daan 2019, last July 25, 2019 at St. Anne Patio, Taguig. This activity was also attended by residents of Taguig who were willing to weather either sun or rain to celebrate!
Taguig City’s Indakan sa Daan is a grand affair showcasing Taguig City’s culture and community environment. The performers, students from the different schools in Taguig City, demonstrated their creative interpretations of the different Philippine folk dances.
SFAC Taguig’s dancers interpreted the Sinakiki, a lively courtship and flirtatious number mimicking the movements of a courting rooster and his evasive ladylove. Originating from Rapu-Rapu, Albay, the dance was choreographed and taught by Mr. Rolly Tagalog.
