On August 9, 2024, students and faculty gathered for the holy mass in the lobby of Saint Francis of Assisi College Southwoods Campus. Father Ronald Siaga presided over the gathering and shared insightful and kind words that touched on many facets of life’s journey. At times, jokes were told, providing the teachers and students with lighthearted moments while maintaining the somber atmosphere. Several students gave their offerings to the priest to show their appreciation for God and the service given by the priests and acolytes.
After the offerings were presented and additional prayers recited, the holy communion commenced. As the final prayers were exchanged, the faculty, staff, and students were blessed with holy water. At the close of the mass, the priest offered his congratulations on the start of the new school year before departing, and shortly thereafter, many students left the school, marking the end of the holy mass.
