SAS LB Holds Back-to-Back Celebrations

October 4 is the annual celebration of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint for ecologists due to his unfathomable love for animals and nature. He is also the patron saint of the Saint Francis of Assisi Colleges and Saint Anthony School. In line with this, the SFAC and SAS communities celebrated the academic institution’s 38th founding anniversary in the name of their patron saint.
With this year’s theme, Commitment through Excellent Service: Soar to Greater Heights, SAS LB welcomes the foundation day celebration with a variety of booths spearheaded by the League of Officers. A solemn thanksgiving mass at the school grounds was also celebrated to express the institution’s deep gratitude for the 38 fruitful years the school has gone through. Furthermore, students from various year levels showcased their exceptional dancing skills during the founding anniversary program. Father Doy Bariring presided the Eucharistic Celebration for the Founding Anniversary.

The second part of the celebration was the much-awaited teacher’s day celebration to honor the noble deeds of the pillars of the academic institution. The League of Officers- LOO prepared fun games and heartwarming surprise for the passionate teachers of SAS LB. A simple yet meaningful feast was prepared for the teachers to conclude the day’s celebrations.
