Selected learners of Saint Francis of Assisi College – Las Piñas have successfully passed the elimination round of the 2020 Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge Division Level conducted last January 16-17, 2020, allowing them to advance for the Division Finals this first week of February. On the other hand, our Grade 6 learner, Jenna Camille D. Sy, was able to secure Third Honor for overall individual scoring.
The MMC (Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge) is an annual mathematics competition aimed at raising the competitiveness of elementary and high school students. In partnership with the Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines (MTAP) and the DepEd Philippines, MMC is the longest running math competition in the country.
