Franciscans elect League of Officers 2019

June 04-08, 2019 marked a memorable event for students who were good in academics and, at the same time, exhibited an unmingled sense of leadership and ardor for social work. Last June 04, 2019 at 10:00 in the morning, two student parties, SMART (Student’s Massive Alliance for Reform and Transparency) and TREND (Taking Responsibility to Empower and Nurture Discipline) had their Miting de Avance inside the school’s Activity Center.

The event started with a brief and highly engaging tidings from the former League of Officers President Christian Axl Macalindong, and Vice President, Zyreena Flores. It was followed by the introduction of the TREND party, headed by Felecity Phylliss Rocamora of Grade 11-ABM and SMART party, headed by Kirsten Andrea Loleng of Grade 11-STEM.  Both parties had made themselves known as well as their objectives and goals for the current school year.

June 08, 2019 was hailed as Election Day and students from Grade 4 up to Grade 12 level casted   their votes for their chosen candidates. At 2:00 pm on the same day, the votes were counted in the presence of  Mr. Alexander Vasquez and Ms. Jessica Buñales who led the Counting Committee. The candidates were also there to witness the tally of votes. The winners were announced at around 5 P.M.  The nerve-racking event ended with the SMART party winning this year’s presidency.

SFAC  Alabang proved, once again, that SFAC continuously ensures the broad-based development of its students  to help them understand the value of leadership and the impact of collective decisions through the election process.
