Franciscans Celebrate Buwan ng Wika 2019

Last August 28, 2019, We celebrated our Buwan ng Wika with the Theme: “Wikang Katutubo, Tungo sa Iisang Bansang Filipino.” The Franciscans also had presentation by each level starting with preschool, Primary, Intermediate, and the High School Department.

For the preschool, they presented an intermission number; the piece that they will perform for the InterCampus Dance Contest. Primary students also presented their Contemporary Ethnic Dance where they showcased the different traditions. They were also able to show us the rich culture of these groups through their cultural props and costumes.

Next to that is the presentation of the Intermediate Level, where they showcase their respective pieces under the Modern Folk Dance category. They are wearing elegant costumes that made them beautiful in the eyes of everyone.

Lastly, the high school students presented their dance number to the tune of iconic Eraserhead’s “Toyang” where different dance steps were presented. It is true that FRANCISCANS are not just good in academics but also talented learners that motivated them to show and be a role model to each and every one.
