Franciscan community unite for victims of Taal Volcano eruption

Saint Francis of Assisi College is on the move again to help the victims of the Taal volcano eruption in Batangas. The provincial government of Batangas on January 13, Monday, declared state of calamity in the province due to the eruption of Taal Volcano. It was a devastating thing to witness. Aside from including them in our prayers, SFAC decided to start a movement called, “Share a Care.” This campaign is designed to help the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption by gathering donations from those who are willing to extend their help. The school is now accepting donations in the form of canned goods, rice, instant noodles, mineral water, and the likes. No matter how big or how small that donation is, as long as it comes from the heart, it will be greatly appreciated. After all, it is said that success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.
