Saint Anthony School of Los Banos strongly believes that building a positive school culture is solidified by teaching Anthonians self-leadership and rectitude so that they can, in turn, be a positive influence on their peers.
A student leadership development training program for primary and intermediate Anthonians was, thus, conducted at the Los Banos Campus last July 23, 2019 (Tuesday) from 8am to 11:30 am. Held at room 107, the activity was facilitated Dr. Edgardo Azarcon Lu, Managing Director of SAS/SFACS..
The Anthonian future leaders enjoyed the program. They had fun drawing their favourite school leaders, particularly, the reasons why they chose the said leaders. To their delight, they also built a tower using spaghetti noodles and marshmallows which tested their sense of team work, patience and perseverance.
Aside from preparing this young emerging Antonians to step up and lead by beginning with themselves, they will also help in transforming their school culture – in personal and community building and – through individual and collective role modelling skills.
