More than 300 students and faculty members participated in fire and earthquake drill supervised by the Bureau of Fire Protection. The activity prepared the entire Anthonian community for the occurrence of an earthquake or fire in the province.
A siren signaled the start of the drill at 9:00 a.m. while the students performed the “duck, cover, and hold” stance. After the drill, Saint Anthony School attained a satisfactory rating for their active and cautious conduct during the mock exercises.
Through the drill and exercise, Anthonians were taught how to respond to the complications of an actual disaster, and makes them appreciate how well all parts of a good emergency plan work together successfully.
